American Apparel, Inc. Announces Appointment of Stacey Shulman to CTO, Chief Technology Officer

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- American Apparel, Inc. (NYSE Amex:APP), a vertically integrated manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of branded fashion basic apparel, appointed Stacey Shulman as CTO, Chief Technology Officer effective February 22, 2012. Ms. Shulman was previously the Company's Vice President of Technology and will have responsibility for American Apparel's global Information and Technology operations.

Ms. Shulman began her career in retail as a buyer and has worked with a large number of specialty and luxury branded retailers.
